One passenger acts as the travel manager of the cabin, i.e. they complete the reservation of the entire cabin, filling in all passenger information and the payment of the cabin. To help with the booking process, the travel manager must find out the following information about each passenger in the cabin in advance:
- First and last name
- Date of birth e.g. (01.01.1995)
- Citizenship
- Email address
- Study place (if studying)
- Possible student union membership valid on 10.11.2024 (METKA, Helga, Laureamko, HUMAKO or O'Diako)
- Information about the meal voucher (e.g. buffet time or open meal coupon)
- Possible Club One card number
- Does the passenger want to buy extra patches?
All passengers in the cabin must be entered at the same time during the reservation, the cabin cannot be filled in later. Passenger changes are subject to a fee according to the change fee table.
The trip is paid for immediately in the last step of the reservation. Payment can be made by anyone with a valid payment card (Credit/Debit: MasterCard and Visa or Electron cards), online banking credentials, MobilePay, or Pivo. NOTE! Only the person making the reservation will receive a payment receipt/order confirmation for the cabin reservation to the email registered to Kide.app’s booking system.
All cabin passengers will receive an information letter via e-mail about a business day after the booking. The information letter contains general information about the event. All reservations are binding. The information letter and the tickets in your Kide.app wallet are not personalized. You will receive and pick up your personal ticket from the port on the day of departure with an ID. If necessary, a cabin mate can forward the information letter, if you have not received it.
Please be careful when filling in the reservation information, as all trip information will be sent to the email address provided during the booking process. After choosing the desired cabin class, the travel manager has 25 minutes to fill in all the passenger information and complete the reservation. After 25 minutes, the unfinished cabin reservation will go back on sale.
Club One members can indicate their card number during the booking process. The card is still normally presented on the cruise in connection with purchases. Tallink Silja Line does not refund points afterwards.
The age limit for the cruise is 18 years, therefore, you must have filled the age of 18 by the departure date.
The price includes a cabin seat for one passenger, one meal (buffet or 40€ meal coupon), coverall patch, a 5€ service fee, a 11€ fuel surcharge, and an amazing program through the whole cruise! With a valid student union membership on the day of departure (METKA, Helga, Laureamko, HUMAKO or O'Diako), the member-priced ticket is slightly cheaper.

While booking a trip, each passenger chooses either a buffet meal and the buffet time, or an open meal coupon that can be used as a means of payment in all of the ship's restaurants. The meal coupon is included in the Kaljaasi ticket.

Each passenger who participates in Kaljaasi will automatically receive a Kaljaasi event patch in the shape of a bottle with the year.
In addition to the event patch, you can also separately purchase the general Kaljaasi patch or the new, rotating patch that will be released before ticket sales begin. In 2024, there will be exceptionally two new coverall patches! The patches are sold together with the tickets, and any coverall patch purchases will be recorded in the passenger information. Coverall patches are only sold with the cabin, meaning you cannot purchase just the patch through Kide.app.
Coverall patches will be delivered to the passenger when boarding passes are distributed on Kaljaasi's departure day.
If you, or one of your cabin mates, want to buy these separate coverall patches, make sure before the ticket sales start which patches are added to the information for each passenger on Kide.app. Patches cannot be added to the passenger data afterwards and the purchased patches will be transferred to the new passenger in case of any passenger changes.
A small batch of patches will be available for purchase on the day of departure at the INFO desk in the harbor from 13 to 15. Payment via MobilePay.

Kaljaasi travel reservations are binding, and paid travel cannot be canceled. However, we can replace the passenger with another person for a change fee. Please note, that the cabin class cannot be changed after the reservation has been made. When one passenger is replaced by another, the selected meals are also transferred to the new passenger.
Please also note, that forwarding a Kide.app ticket does not count as a passenger change, as all passenger changes are made on a separate form. All passenger information changes are made from October 7th onwards using a separate form on Kide.app.
A passenger's name and other personal information can be changed according to the following change fee schedule.

- 0 €/change when the transfer/change is made by 6.10.2024 in the Kide.app wallet.
- 5 €/change when the transfer/change is made between 7.10 – 27.10.2024 using the change form
- 10 €/change when the transfer/change is made between 28.10 – 6.11.2024 using the change form
- 15 €/change when the transfer/change is made between 7.11 – 8.11.2024 before 18:00 through the change form.
- 8.11.2024 klo 18 jälkeen matkustajamuutos on mahdollista vain sairastapauksissa. Sairastuneen tulee lähettää ilmoitus ja virallinen todistus sairastumisesta sähköpostilla, josta ilmenee uuden matkustajan nimi ja syntymäaika. Muutos tehdään satamassa 10.11. klo 12-13 välisenä aikana ja tästä peritään uudelta matkustajalta 15 euron muutosmaksu. 10.11.2024 klo 13.00 jälkeen saapuneita ilmoituksia ei huomioida.
The following information is required when changing passengers:
- Ticket number (can be found on the ticket in your Kide.app wallet)
- Name and date of birth of the original passenger
- Name and date of birth of the new passenger
- The nationality of the new passenger
- Email address of the new passenger
- Study place, if studying (Metropolia, Haaga-Helia, Laurea, Diak, Humak, etc.)
- Possible Club One card number of the new passenger
Selling/Buying a Cabin or Cabin Place Safely.
Buyer, confirm that the seller has all the tickets related to the cabin in their Kide.app wallet. Ask for a screenshot to be displayed. If the seller has already transferred individual travel tickets to other cabinmates’ wallets, those tickets must be transferred back to the seller for sale.
The buyer and seller mutually agree on the transfer of tickets to the buyer's kide.app wallet. When the transfer to the buyer's wallet has been made, the buyer can then edit the passenger information in their own wallet. When the new information has been changed, the buyer then pays the seller an amount equal to the original ticket price.If the buyer does not pay, the tickets can be returned to the seller. Cabins can NOT be resold at a profit and in extreme cases, the original tickets will be frozen.
Meal tickets are not shown separately in the kide.app wallet, but the information can be found in the additional information form of the passenger's ticket in connection with personal information. Tickets do not need to be transferred to the other cabinmates’ wallets, as the actual tickets are picked up on the day of departure upon showing an ID.
From 7.10.2024, all changes will be made using a change form according to the pricing list.
KALJAASI 10.11.-12.11.2024 TRAVEL TERMS AND SPECIAL PAYMENT, CHANGES AND CANCELLATION TERMS
The contract/travel conditions below apply to new travel reservations made after September 1, 2024.
- EXTENT OF APPLICATION
The additional and special conditions below apply to Kaljaasi travel contracts regarding the payment, change and cancellation conditions of the travel contract. - CONTRACT CREATION AND TERMS OF PAYMENT
After booking a trip through the booking website, a binding contract for the traveler is created when the traveler pays the price of the trip to the travel operator. The payment is due immediately at the time of booking.NOTE! Once the price of the trip has been paid, it is not refunded if the passenger cancels his participation in the trip.
- CANCELLATION BY THE PASSENGER
Matkavaraus on sitova. Matkalipun voi siirtää toiselle henkilölle muutosmaksua vastaan. Katso muutoshinnasto. 8.11.2024 klo 18 jälkeen matkustajamuutos on mahdollista vain sairastapauksissa. Sairastuneen tulee lähettää ilmoitus ja virallinen todistus sairastumisesta sähköpostilla, josta ilmenee uuden matkustajan nimi ja syntymäaika. - CHANGE OF THE PASSENGER AND CHANGES TO THE TRIP

Travel reservations are binding, and the trip must be paid in full at the time of booking. When making a reservation, any person with a valid payment card (Credit/Debit: MasterCard and Visa or Electron cards), online banking credentials or MobilePay can make the payment.
A paid trip cannot be canceled. A passenger can, however, be replaced by another person for a change fee. Please note, that the cabin class cannot be changed after the reservation has been made. Metka Opiskelijapalvelut Oy urges the traveler to obtain sufficiently comprehensive personal and property travel insurance for the trip already at the time of booking the trip.
- CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS MADE BY THE ORGANISER
If the organizer cancels the event, passengers will be refunded the ticket price paid, excluding the 5 euro service fee. Kaljaasi reserves the right to make changes related to the trip if official instructions or requirements change before the trip due to infectious diseases or other events beyond the control of the organizer.The passenger may not resell tickets at a profit. In the case of ticket transfers between passengers, the maximum asking price for tickets is the original ticket price. In cases of gross overselling, the organizer has the right to cancel the entire original cabin reservation.
You cannot buy a ticket using a bot in Kide.app. It is possible for us to trace the cabins booked using a bot and the tour operator has the right to cancel the entire cabin reservation.
