We would like to remind you of something:

Cash is king on board! Take cash with you so the queues on bars go quicker.

Check-in starts 3.11.2019, at 12:30pm.
The tickets will be given out to everyone PERSONALLY and all passengers have to show proper identification (passport, ID-card).
The tickets have been organized in to alphabetical order, according to LAST NAME, so if your name would be Jenna Davidson your ticket would be found behind the desk marked A-E.

Check-in ends at 4.15pm! Please come early, there is more than couple thousand students checking in at the same time; there will be long lines.
You may enter the ship 1.00pm and gates will be closed at 4.30pm, after which you may not enter! Ship leaves at 5.00pm.

Remember your ID and a valid student card, if you have paid the student price. (Exchange students are treated as students)

Security checks are done before entering the boat and all the forbidden items will be confiscated and destroyed, if you don’t leave them to the safety boxes yourself.
You are not allowed to bring any alcohol or big stereos or speakers to the ship! Smaller portable speakers are allowed on board!
Please leave all forbidden items home or to the safety boxes in the harbour.

The security checks will begin 1.00pm and all the passengers checked are guided to the Atlantis to wait for the cabins. Also the spa is open from 1.00pm, but you can’t bring any big suitcases there.
You may enter your cabin from 3.30pm.

The cabin keycard will be your boarding pass. To prevent the damaging the card, please keep it away from your mobile or any magnets! You may only enter the areas meant for passengers on board. Smoking is only allowed in the marked smoking areas. Decks 7 and 12, on the left side of the ship and smoking room on deck 12.

On the way to Stockholm only people 20 years and over may buy alcohol from Tax Free and on the way to Helsinki everybody over 18 may buy alcohol.
Damaging ship’s property or any unsafe action is prohibited and will be punished. Please inform ship´s personnel if you see any violations or need help.

You will receive a coloured, separate coupon for the buffet. Check the correct time and setting from the coupon before boarding!

Note! You need to enter the setting latest 15 minutes after the beginning. The coloured coupon will be valid only for the specific setting.

-Possible passenger changes are made digitally. The form and more information can be found here:

-The changes are done one at the time, but you can buy several change slips at one time. The service fee will be charged for each change according the price list (https://kaljaasiristeily.fi/en/info-2/#section5)

-Changes should be dealt with within 3 days and the new passenger will get a confirmation to their e-mail when it is done. The change-ticket in the notifiers wallet will be used.

-The buffets on Sunday are sold out and you can ask about the Monday’s buffet settings on board from the buffet.

– If you sell your ticket forward, there is no need to send the ticket from the Kide.app-wallet since they will not be used for redeeming tickets. Boarding passes are handed out in the harbor against your name, proved by a valid id so just fill out the change form.

-The system has sent out a receipt to the orderer and order confirmations to all passengers in a cabin.The receipt will be delivered to the email registered to the bailataan.fi account. The order confirmation is an e-mail filled with information and the receipt is a summary of the purchase. Neither is needed when redeeming the ticket from the harbor.

-If you didn’t receive the booking confirmation, but you can see your tickets in the Kide.app-wallet, then everything is fine and you are going to Kaljaasi.

-If you have filled in the e-mail wrong for any of the passengers or a passenger has not received an order confirmation, don’t worry. In the order confirmation is only the schedule etc. but it is not needed for redeeming your ticket. You can send the order confirmation to the passenger who is missing it.

Kaljaasi Music Awards – Costume Contest

Kaljaasi Awards combines the familiar activities such as the ”Juo Kaljaasi” contest and the spectacular costume competition. This year the stage will be filled with brights stars of the music scene and of course this all is delivered to you by our lovely hostess Saara.

The best costumes are again rewarded and the brightest star will pick the true cherry from the top: Sony WH-1000XM3 -Bluetooth Headphones!

Rumour says that Elvis will make several comebacks and someone might spot even the king of pop, Michael Jackson walking down the isle. Mozart has taken all his notes, symphonies and clefs with him, filling the atmosphere with beautiful music. The instruments of the Philharmonic Orchestra are running loose on decks, so prepare yourself!
